In addition to earthquake data, the app features a dedicated tsunami icon in the toolbar providing quick, easy access to the latest tsunami updates for the Pacific, US West Coast & Alaska, Australia, and Japan.

With an effortless return function integrated into the app, users can easily navigate back to the earthquake list.

Catering to various devices, QuakeWatch is a universal app that supports all iOS devices including iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Furthermore, iPad users utilizing iOS 10 or newer can benefit from quick view multitasking functionalities.

For greater precision in earthquake tracking, iPod touch and iPad WiFi users have the option to manually specify their current location.

To facilitate localized monitoring for users in particular regions or areas of interest, QuakeWatch offers features that allow users to define local earthquakes within their desired radius. The app then presents these localized earthquakes based on proximity or recency, coloring recent earthquakes within the previous two hours blue for quick identification.

Lastly, QuakeWatch takes into account the convenience of users by displaying all times in their respective time zones. Additionally, the app does not incorporate banner ads, ensuring an uninterrupted user experience.
